Prepare and maintain ACI Motorsport’s Porsche race cars, including Porsche Carrera Cup and GT4 platforms, to the highest standards.

  • Lead the build, rebuild, and turnaround of cars between events, tests, and development programmes.
  • Manage workshop workload, prioritising tasks across multiple cars to meet deadlines and testing schedules.
  • Carry out inspections, servicing, and preventative maintenance in line with Porsche Motorsport guidelines.
  • Ensure all components are installed, checked, and lifed correctly to both manufacturer and ACI standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, including car job lists and build sheets.
  • Support damage repair, fault finding, and system checks to ensure cars leave the workshop fully race-ready.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and professional workshop environment at all times.

What You’ll Need

  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience as a race mechanic, ideally within Porsche Carrera Cup, GT4, or similar GT racing categories.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Porsche race cars, including systems, components, and build processes.
  • Proven experience in full car builds, preparation, and workshop-based race support.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, setup sheets, and engineering instructions.
  • High level of organisation with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple workloads.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering cars to a high standard.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work closely with engineers and technical staff.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-performance workshop environment.
