TEAM OPERATIONS COORDINATOR

As the Team Operations Coordinator for Maserati MSG Racing/Monaco Sports Group SAM, the role serves as the central point of operational activity; supporting the Team Manager, ensuring the smooth delivery of event logistics, managing partner activations, and overseeing sustainability reporting. This position is responsible for ensuring that every element of race weekends and partner engagements runs seamlessly.

 

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

Team Management, Operations Support & On-Site Coordination

  • Develop and maintain the Events Team schedule; circulate invitations and updates for all internal and external meetings.
  • Freight management.
  • Oversee distribution of team kit (teamwear, racewear, and replica apparel), ensuring correct allocation to drivers, engineers, and support staff.
  • Coordinate garage provisions (catering, equipment) and support the setup, maintenance, and pack-down of the garage at each event.
  • Manage guest hospitality within the garage, including pit-lane walks, garage tours, and coordinating guest arrivals in conjunction with the commercial team.
  • Organise and allocate accreditation passes for team personnel, partners, and guests.
  • Liaise with the Formula E Accreditation Team to resolve any on-site access issues.
  • Coordinate logistics and stakeholder engagement for off-site partner activations and filming events (e.g. Monaco).
  • Manage the show car calendar and logistics for partner events, ensuring timely delivery of vehicles and correct application of decals/stickers.
  • Produce, replace, and apply event-specific box labels and production stickers at each race.
  • Oversee on-site team transport: airport transfers, hotel shuttles, and last-minute travel adjustments.
  • Act as the primary support to the Team Manager.

 

Partnership Support

  • Act as the main point of contact for partners: managing activation planning, merchandising, and asset delivery.
  • Support partner hospitality at events and manage garage tours.
  • Work with the Partnerships & Team Manager on team kit orders, inventory management, and preparing kits for drivers and the team.

 

Financial Reporting & Budget Management

  • Prepare regular internal reports on departmental budgets, partner cost allocations, and event-related expenditures.
  • Submit freight invoices promptly.
  • Follow up and assist on the credit card reconciliations of team management division.

 

Sustainability & Environmental Reporting

  • Lead data collection for the annual carbon monitoring report in coordination with internal team, suppliers, and MSG’s environmental partners.
  • Organise and lead frequent environmental meetings and internal sustainability workshops.
  • Manage preparation and follow-up of the FIA Three-Star Environmental Accreditation project.
  • Project-manage new environmental initiatives (e.g. ISO certifications) and develop internal sustainability guidelines.
  • Draft and distribute internal sustainability newsletters; organise Awareness Action Days.
  • Advise on sustainable travel initiatives

 

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in business administration, sport management, or a related field.
  • 2 - 4 years of experience in event coordination, logistics, or partnership support; ideally in motorsport or a high-performance environment.
  • Interest in sustainability issues.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Highly pro-active.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; confident when dealing with senior stakeholders and external partners.
  • Fluent English & French.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Flexible and solution-oriented, with a willingness to travel extensively during the race season.

 

CONDITIONS:

  • Office based position on non-race weeks at Maserati MSG Racing HQ in Monaco.
  • Extensive travel, trackside position (please refer to ABB FIA Formula E World Championship race calendar)
  • One weekly remote working day possibility after trial period.
