Full-Time or Contractor Positions Available
We are seeking experienced and motivated Race Technicians / Mechanics to support the build, preparation, running, and restoration of our race cars. Our operation covers a diverse and prestigious fleet, including LMP Prototypes, Group C, F1 and GT cars.
Purpose of the Role
To participate in the build, preparation, running, and restoration of race cars, both in the workshop and at race events, delivering work to the highest professional motorsport standards.
Principal Accountabilities
- Build, preparation, set-up, and maintenance of multiple race cars to required specifications
- Build and preparation of car sub-assemblies, including gearboxes
- Build, preparation, and maintenance of car support equipment
- Contribute to efficient workshop and trackside operations
- Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and workmanship at all times
Desired Skills and Experience
- Previous high-level motorsport experience is essential, as a Number 1 or Number 2 Mechanic within Single Seater or Sports car racing
- Broad mechanical background across professional motorsport categories
- Gearbox build and rebuild experience would be highly desirable
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality work to tight and demanding deadlines
- Strong team-working skills with the ability to operate effectively under pressure
- Flexible approach to working hours, with a commitment to meeting deadlines without compromising industry-leading standards
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Valid passport
- Willing and able to travel to race and test events
- UK-based; team located in the West Midlands
