Experience Required: Minimum 5 years in a similar position in FE, WEC, F1 or high-level motorsport

Job description

As a performance engineer, you will be fully involved in the race team. You’ll work directly with a driver to set the car as the driver prefers to extract the best performance of our package. You will attend the race preparation at the simulator (Driver in the loop), to the race events and several test sessions.

Main Responsibilities

• Chassis setting definition for the car where the performance engineer is dedicated
• Data analysis and report on chassis area during race, race preparation at the DIL & Test session to suggest setting improvements
• Performance extraction during race with driving analysis
• Performance extraction during race of the car with analysis of the operating points to advice the driver
• Team work with the performance group to suggest improvement on software, setting due to race experience

Profile

• Master’s degree in Motorsport, Mechanical, Automotive or related engineering discipline.
• Dynamic vehicle expertise
• Experience in complex embedded system
• Wintax & Sysma software knowledge (nice to have)
• Ability to analyze onboard data to understand the areas of improvement to extract performance
• Team Spirit
• Fluent in English
