Full time No. 2 Mechanic LMP2 program
Role Summary:
As No.2 mechanic, you’ll support the preparation, set-up and operation of our LMP2 cars. You’ll be based at the UK based workshop (Horsham, West Sussex) and travel internationally for testing and race weekends. You’ll work closely with the Chief Mechanic and the No.1 mechanics to ensure every car runs optimally and reliably.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the build and maintenance of the LMP2 race cars both in the workshop and at circuits.
- Support pit-stop operations and garage set-up on race weekends.
- Adhere to build schedules, service intervals and parts-life tracking.
- Maintain the workshop, tools, kit, transporter and garage to high standards of cleanliness, organisation and safety.
- Travel internationally with the team, adapt quickly to variable conditions and perform under tight deadlines.
- Always represent the team and our sponsors professionally, both on and off-track.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a professional motorsport environment (GT3, F3 or LMP2) with endurance racing experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on attitude and ability to work both independently and as part of a high performing team. Endurance pitstop experience preffered.
- Proven ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and maintain exceptional standards of workmanship.
- Excellent communication skills, proactive mindset and strong team orientation.
- Willingness and ability to travel globally with the team, often at short notice.
- Fluency in English.
