Leadership role in building a new motorsport hub in Germany
The FAT Karting League is redefining grassroots motorsport. Our electric kart championship is expanding internationally and reduces more than 95% of the traditional cost structures in racing. This allows a new generation of drivers and families to access professional competition.
With the establishment of our first hub in continental Europe, we are now launching in Germany. For the leadership of our new hub in Stuttgart, we are looking for an entrepreneurial leader with strong operational capabilities and enthusiasm for motorsport or live events.
This role combines strategic development with operational responsibility in day-to-day business and active leadership during race weekends.
Your Role
As Hub Manager Germany, you will take full responsibility for operational business in Germany. You will manage day-to-day operations within defined budgets and guidelines and represent the hub toward racetracks, service providers, employees, and partners.
The role is divided between administrative and organizational responsibilities during the week and operational leadership at the racetrack during event weekends. In addition, you may support further European expansion when required.
Your Responsibilities
Operational Management & Administration
- Independent management of day-to-day operations within defined budgets, processes, and safety standards
- Presence in the office or workshop at least three working days per week
- Planning and execution of race events in Germany
- Creation and maintenance of schedules, reporting, and documentation (Microsoft 365)
- Budget responsibility with a strong focus on cost control and efficiency
- Coordination of permits, safety requirements, and insurance requirements in cooperation with headquarters
- Management of external service providers (workshop, transport, storage, track operators)
Technical & Workshop Leadership
- Leadership of the mechanic team
- Ensuring operational readiness and maintenance of the kart fleet
- Implementation of technical updates in collaboration with the engineering team
- Ensuring consistently high quality standards
Event Management
- Overall responsibility for race weekends
- Leadership of the track and event team
- Ensuring a safe, professional, and budget-compliant event execution
- Ensuring compliance with internal processes and performance indicators
Team Leadership & Development
- Recruitment, scheduling, and management of full-time and part-time staff
- Clear communication of expectations and quality standards
- Conducting debriefings to ensure continuous improvement
Customer Experience
- Ensuring a high-quality experience for drivers, families, and partners
- Professional handling of escalations
- Close collaboration with sales and marketing to ensure high utilization
Your Profile
- Experience inour Profilemotorsport, karting, or live event management (preferred)
- Experience with budget responsibility and cost control
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style
- Leadership experience in dynamic, time-critical environments
- Strong organizational and decision-making skills
- Confident use of Microsoft 365 (especially Excel, Outlook, and Word)
- Valid EU driver’s license
- Fluent German and English
Travel & Availability
- Weekend work during the racing season is required
- High willingness to travel within Germany
- Seasonal assignments in other European regions during the winter months

Mit dem Aufbau unseres ersten Standorts in Kontinentaleuropa starten wir nun in Deutschland. Für die Leitung unseres neuen Hubs in Stuttgart suchen wir eine unternehmerisch denkende Führungspersönlichkeit mit operativer Stärke und Begeisterung für Motorsport oder Live-Events.
Diese Position verbindet strategischen Aufbau mit operativer Verantwortung im Tagesgeschäft und aktiver Leitung an Rennwochenenden.
Ihre Rolle
Als Hub Manager Deutschland übernehmen Sie die Gesamtverantwortung für das operative Geschäft in Deutschland. Sie steuern das Tagesgeschäft innerhalb definierter Budgets und Richtlinien und repräsentieren den Standort gegenüber Rennstrecken, Dienstleistern, Mitarbeitenden und Partnern.
Die Tätigkeit gliedert sich in administrative und organisatorische Aufgaben unter der Woche sowie operative Führungsverantwortung an der Rennstrecke an Veranstaltungswochenenden. Darüber hinaus unterstützen Sie bei Bedarf die weitere europäische Expansion.
Ihre Aufgaben
Operative Leitung & Administration
- Eigenverantwortliche Steuerung des Tagesgeschäfts innerhalb vorgegebener Budgets, Prozesse und Sicherheitsstandards
- Präsenz im Büro oder in der Werkstatt an mindestens drei Arbeitstagen pro Woche
- Planung und Durchführung von Rennveranstaltungen in Deutschland
- Erstellung und Pflege von Einsatzplänen, Reportings und Dokumentationen (Microsoft 365)
- Budgetverantwortung mit klarem Fokus auf Kostenkontrolle und Effizienz
- Koordination von Genehmigungen, Sicherheits- und Versicherungsanforderungen in Abstimmung mit dem Headquarter
- Steuerung externer Dienstleister (Werkstatt, Transport, Lager, Streckenbetreiber)
Technische & Werkstattleitung
- Führung des Mechanik-Teams
- Sicherstellung der Einsatzbereitschaft und Wartung der Kart-Flotte
- Umsetzung technischer Updates in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Engineering-Team
- Sicherstellung eines konstant hohen Qualitätsstandards
Eventleitung
- Gesamtverantwortung für Rennwochenenden
- Führung des Strecken- und Eventteams
- Sicherstellung eines sicheren, professionellen und budgetkonformen Ablaufs
- Einhaltung interner Prozesse und Leistungskennzahlen
Teamführung & Weiterentwicklung
- Rekrutierung, Einsatzplanung und Führung von Vollzeit- und Teilzeitkräften
- Klare Kommunikation von Erwartungen und Qualitätsstandards
- Durchführung von Nachbesprechungen zur kontinuierlichen Verbesserung
Kundenerlebnis
- Sicherstellung eines hochwertigen Erlebnisses für Fahrer, Familien und Partner
- Professionelle Bearbeitung von Eskalationen
- Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Vertrieb und Marketing zur Sicherstellung einer hohen Auslastung
Ihr Profil
- Erfahrung im Motorsport, Kartsport oder im Live-Event-Management (wünschenswert)
- Erfahrung in Budgetverantwortung und Kostenkontrolle
- Strukturierte, selbstständige und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise
- Führungserfahrung in dynamischen, zeitkritischen Umfeldern
- Organisationsstärke und Entscheidungsfähigkeit
- Sicherer Umgang mit Microsoft 365 (insbesondere Excel, Outlook und Word)
- Gültiger EU-Führerschein
- Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
Reisebereitschaft & Verfügbarkeit
- Wochenendarbeit während der Rennsaison ist erforderlich
- Hohe Reisebereitschaft innerhalb Deutschlands
