General Summary:
This role reports to the Head of Business Process or their designee and is based in Banbury, UK. The role supports the delivery and contribution of departmental and organisational objectives. Responsible for supporting day-to-day operations within their area of responsibility, working collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure high standards of service, compliance, and performance. Adherence to organisational policies and procedures, effective communication with line management, and a commitment to continuous improvement and inclusive ways of working is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
Role-Specific Responsibilities
- Responsible for the management of Part Lifing information held withing the companies Life Management System.
- Work across multiple factory and trackside teams ensuring the accuracy and concurrency of Part Lifing across product design, build and race activities.
- Ensure part lifing identification and limits are being set through the design process and report any non-conformances back into the Reliability and Design Engineers within the Design Department.
- Build and Maintain the Part Lifing Structure within the Life Management System and keep the structure concurrent with respect to changes needed pre, during and post events.
- Work with the Factory and Trackside teams to ensure that the transacted level of serialized parts data held within the Lifing system are aligned to those being built on the car.
- Work with the BoM Controller and Digital Build Engineer to ensure the car assembly structure is reflected in the Lifing system and structured in the most efficient way to enable rapid change.
- React to parts getting close to service and life limits and work with PMO and Procurement to ensure associated re-order requirements are being actioned.
- Ensure that part mileage tracking information is being captured at tests and races and measure/address any non-conformances in doing this.
- Use the information in the Tooling BoM (Factory and Trackside) to monitor and track tool usage and react to tools getting close to life limits and ensure associated re-order requirements are being actioned.
- Support the Manufacturing DMU review providing and relevant lifing and service information to allow for upstream design decisions to be influenced.
- Preparation of event based UIIL submission and updating as required through the event to capture newly received parts.
- Ensure physical part marking alignment to the lifing structure.

Person Specification:
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- GCSE, High School diploma or equivalent.
- Further education including University Degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering desired.
- Experience of working in a general mechanical engineering environment desired.
- Prior experience in Formula One is advantageous.
- Preferably 4 years of experience of Lifing Management within an Automotive or Aerospace environment.
- Proven leadership in high-pressure, performance-driven environments.

- Knowledge of exploring data held in PLM systems (3DExperience) and ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics D365).
- Ability to prepare and present effective presentations of complex subjects to a diverse audience in an engaging way and agreeing outcomes for resolution.
- Ability to follow complex regulations related to shipment of materials.
Physical Demands
Extended Hours & Flexibility:
- Many roles require working evenings, weekends, and public holidays, particularly during race season or critical development phases.
Travel Requirements:
- Roles supporting race operations, logistics, or communications may involve frequent international travel, including long-haul flights and time zone shifts.
Physical Activity (Varies by Role):
- Trackside roles may involve standing for long periods, walking across paddocks, and working in noisy, crowded environments.
- Factory roles may require manual handling of components, use of machinery, or working in temperature-controlled areas.
- Office-based roles typically involve prolonged computer use and occasional movement between departments.
Sensory Demands:
- Exposure to high noise levels (e.g., engines, pit lane activity), bright lighting, and fast-moving environments is common in race support roles.
