ACI Motorsport — a multi-championship-winning professional race team, recently crowned 2025 Porsche Carrera Cup North America (PCCNA) Pro-Am Champions, is offering a structured Intern-to-Junior Mechanic opportunity.

This role is designed for individuals with limited experience who are eager to build a long-term career in professional motorsport. You’ll gain hands-on experience preparing and maintaining Porsche GT4 and Porsche Carrera Cup race cars under the guidance of experienced race technicians.

Successful interns demonstrating strong work ethic, initiative, and skill development will have the opportunity to progress into a full-time Race Mechanic position within the team.

Key Responsibilities

Workshop & Preparation
• Assist with the preparation, cleaning, and maintenance of Porsche GT4 and Carrera Cup race cars.
• Support mechanical tasks such as setup, alignment, and routine servicing under supervision.
• Help organize tools, parts, and equipment within the workshop.

Event Support
• Participate in race and test events as part of the trackside support team.
• Assist with car setup, fueling, tyre management, and general event operations.
• Learn and follow professional race weekend procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Development & Learning
• Follow all engineering, safety, and quality procedures while learning industry standards.
• Work alongside senior mechanics and engineers to develop technical understanding of race cars.
• Demonstrate initiative, problem-solving, and teamwork to support car performance and reliability.

Ideal Candidate

• Passionate about motorsport with a strong desire to learn and develop.
• Basic mechanical knowledge or hands-on experience (college, karting, or automotive background beneficial).
• Reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable working long hours and traveling to events.
• Ambitious to grow into a full-time role within professional motorsport.
