Since the 2026 season, Audi has been competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship.
 
The new team has three locations. The Motorsport Competence Center of Audi in Neuburg (Germany) is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. The Formula 1 factory of Audi Motorsport AG in Hinwil (Switzerland) is known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing. The Audi Motorsport Technology Center in UK is in its launch phase and growing continuously. Our Power Unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for the development of the chassis and race operations.

This position is to be filled at Audi Formula Racing GmbH in Neuburg (Germany).

In the high-pressure hydraulics department, you will work on one of the key components of a high-performance powertrain and play your part in ensuring our competitiveness in a highly competitive environment. The role encompasses the basic assembly of high-pressure hydraulics in the workshop/cleanroom, through various test benches for sub-component testing, to the assembly of the complete hydraulic system for high-performance motorsport applications to the highest quality standards.

 

Your Mission

  • Independent and autonomous assembly and commissioning of high-pressure hydraulic systems for motorsport
  • Fabricating jigs and tools to facilitate the assembly process, in collaboration with the design department
  • Testing, adjusting and commissioning high-pressure hydraulic systems and their subsystems
  • Carrying out measurements and adjustment procedures during the assembly process
  • Troubleshooting components and the overall system in close collaboration with the component managers
  • Documenting the individual work steps
  • Continuously improving work processes in the manufacture of high-pressure hydraulic systems
  • Identifying issues in the assembly process in close coordination with the component manager and quality assurance

 

Your Profile

  • Excellent understanding of mechanical systems
  • Solid vocational training or technical qualification with professional experience in motorsport
  • Enjoy working in global teams
  • High level of commitment and problem-solving skills
  • A resilient, confident personality with strong team spirit, high motivation and a proactive approach
  • Excellent creative and manual skills
