Full Time Data Engineer WEC AND ELMS

The job:

• Full time onsite position based in our workshop near Horsham UK 
• Trackside support of race and systems engineers

               - Strategy analysis and monitor competitors pit stops

               - Pit stop data analysis 

• Take ownership of the Intercom system,

               - Manage user groups and configurations 

               - Liaise with 3rd party provider

               - Document configurations and credentials

               - Maintain hardware and equipment 

• Workshop role 

               - Pre and post event reporting 

               - Improvement and evolution of engineering tools 

               - Maintenance of engineering equipment and management of consumables 

• Servers, Data stations, intercoms, Network and TV Cables 

               - Responsible for maintaining our central file store of data video and documents 

• Ensure all files are transferred from travelling kit into our central NAS  

Candidate Profile:

• Recent engineering graduate who aspires towards race/performance/systems engineering 
• Knowledge of motorsport data analysis tools (WinDarab, Pi Toolbox, i2)
• Experience with Microsoft office suite software and some programming skills (VBA, C, Python)
• Some motorsport experience would be advantageous (F4/F3/GT4/GT3/LMP3) 
• An enthusiastic “can do” and team focused attitude
