Freelance IT Trackside Engineer WEC
The job:
- Manage our IT infrastructure, focusing on our travelling WEC kit but also feeding improvements into ELMS and our workshop.
- Network setup, optimisation and monitoring
- Hardware and software fault finding
- Document IT systems and credentials
- Plan and execute an expanded network for Le Mans 24hrs
- Combination of WEC and ELMS equipment and workstations
- Expanded network into BoH temporary structure
- Liaise with 3rd parties and suppliers
- Take part in pits stops as part of the fueling crew
Candidate Profile:
Experience in;
- Hardware fault finding
- Networking – LAN, WAN & SDWAN
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- An enthusiastic “can do” and team focused attitude
- Trackside motorsport experience is beneficial but not required
This role will require worldwide travel to all World Endurance Championship events.
