About the Role:

We are seeking a capable and motivated Race Engineer to join our Formula 4 team. This role is central to our trackside operations and driver performance, involving data analysis, set-up development, and in-session engineering support. You’ll work closely with the driver and technical staff to extract the maximum from the car across test days and race weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

· Act as the primary liaison between driver and team for all performance-related matters.

· Analyse telemetry and performance data using tools such as WinTAX, OneTiming, and AIM to inform set-up and strategy decisions.

· Collaborate with mechanics and data engineers to ensure optimal car preparation and reliability.

· Conduct pre- and post-session briefings, providing clear feedback and engineering input.

· Respond to real-time data and driver feedback to adjust car parameters during sessions.

· Ensure all activity complies with Formula 4 sporting and technical regulations.

· Assist with performance reviews and post-event reporting to support development.

· Attend all race events, testing, simulator sessions, and team meetings as required.

Requirements:

· Degree in Motorsport, Mechanical, or Automotive Engineering.

· 1–3 years’ experience in a race engineering or data engineering role.

· Previous experience working in Formula 4 or an equivalent single-seater category.

· Strong knowledge of vehicle dynamics and performance engineering.

· Proficient with data acquisition systems including WinTAX, OneTiming, AIM, and Excel.

· Confident in the use of static simulators to support driver development and set-up work.

· Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical feedback clearly and concisely.

· Calm, focused, and effective under pressure in a live race environment.

· Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours, including weekends.
