Our team

Welcome to the Audi F1 Project.

Audi will compete in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026.

The new team has three locations. The Audi Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg, Germany, is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. The Sauber Group's Formula 1 Factory in Hinwil, Switzerland, is known for its innovative technologies and its passion for racing. The Sauber Motorsport Technology Center in the United Kingdom will be operational this year. Our power unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for chassis development and race operations.

What do you need? The mindset of an athlete. If you're someone for whom giving up is not an option and limits are simply something to be overcome, you can help us bring Vorsprung durch Technik (Progress through Technology) to Formula 1. Become part of this unique project and make motorsport history.

This position for the Audi F1 Project is available at Audi Formula Racing GmbH in Neuburg, Germany.

In the area of ECU software, you'll work on key components that translate the power unit's performance to the racetrack and contribute to competitiveness in a highly competitive environment. You'll collaborate with an agile team to implement the dynamic requirements for the power unit's control (internal combustion engine, hybrid drive, strategy). You'll support our test and deployment teams as needed on the test benches and also during race weekends from Mission Control in Neuburg. Through testing on the Hardware in the Lab (HIL) at the component and system levels, you'll ensure the usability and robustness of our power unit software within the F1 project. Furthermore, you'll have the opportunity to influence the development tools and processes with your experience and new ideas.
