Overview:
Reporting to the ACO Competition Director, the WEC Technical Manager will be primarily responsible for:
-Leading the ACO’s scrutineering team dedicated to WEC (including technical checks)
-Participating in the homologation process of cars
-Producing technical regulations
The WEC Technical Manager’s responsibilities will contribute to the highest standards of the WEC championship by embodying the ACO’s values at race events, representing the institution with competitors, manufacturers and partner governing bodies.

The WEC Technical Manager will be entrusted with the responsibilities set out below:
To fulfill the above responsibilities, the FIA WEC Technical Manager will be required to attend all World Endurance Championship events, as Technical Delegate.
Profile:
-Mechanical Engineering Degree
-Significant experience in motor sport, with at least 10 years as an engineer or technical manager
-High degree of sensitivity to cultural differences in the sport
-Good knowledge of sporting/technical regulations and ability to understand sporting subjects
-Strong sense of customer service
-Strong team management skills
-Languages: English - native or fluent (written and spoken) & French - good skills
-Excellent organisation and communication skills
-Ability to work in the strictest confidence with suppliers and teams
-Ability to handle numerous responsibilities simultaneously
-Availability and willingness to travel extensively
