The primary function is to implement the correct Vehicle Dynamics Principles in all programmes of the NIO Performance Group, with initial primary focus on Formula E.
Guarantee the correct implementation of the fundamentals of Vehicle Dynamics into the initial design and development process of a Formula E Race Car by using typical Multibody Analysis and/or Matlab tools.
Define, Develop, Optimize and Validate the Performance Targets for the (Rear) Suspension Package/Layout within the given constraints of the FIA Formula E Technical Regulations in close co-operation with the Mechanical Design Department and our selected technical partners & suppliers.
Guide and Support the DIL & Systems Simulation Engineers with broad Vehicle Dynamics Know-How in order to extract the maximum performance potential out of Car / Aerodynamics & Tyre Package.
Support/Co-Operate with the Race & Test Team, the Electronic Control & Systems Department and Performance Engineering to maximize Race Performance during the season. Analyse & Verify Data.
