Primary function is to oversee & coordinate all vehicle dynamics related subject matters related to the Formula E car.
Guarantee the correct implementation of the fundamentals of vehicle dynamics into the initial design and development process of a Formula E Race Car by using typical multibody analysis and/or Matlab software tools.
Define, develop, optimise and validate the performance targets for the suspension layout/package within the constraints of the FIA Formula E Technical Regulations in close co-operation with the Mechanical Design Department and our selected technical partners.
Guide the DIL & Simulation Engineers with broad vehicle dynamics ‘know-how’ and extract the maximum performance potential out of the overall chassis set-up.
Support the Race Engineering and Electronics & Control Systems Departments to maximise car performance and development during the course of the season.
