Technical Documentation Engineer

We are also involved in the Extreme E series and an expanding Rally Raid Championship team and customer programme. 

We are looking for a Technical Documentation Engineer to join the Motorsport Chassis Design office, to work across all motorsport projects including Aston Martin Racing, BRX Dakar and Prodrive P25.

Key Responsibilities:

• Creation of new technical documentation to support all Prodrive Motorsport projects, including:
  • Technical updates
  • Build manuals & assembly documentation
  • Spare parts manuals
  • User manuals
  • Update existing documentation in line with engineering change releases
  • Liaison with other departments, particularly workshop
  • Drive continuous improvement for all documentation processes

Skills/attributes:

• Experience in a mechanical engineering background, dealing with complex engineering assemblies, ideally (but not essentially) automotive builds
• Good understanding of the typical demands of discerning customers
• Ability to manage and prioritise workload in a high-performance team
• Solid experience with MS Office and basic image editing software
• Experience of 3D CAD would be beneficial, but not essential
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• High attention to detail
• Enthusiastic and effective team member
• Proven record of producing high-quality professional documentation using technical English
