Systems Engineer

We are seeking a Systems Engineer to start with immediate effect as a full time permanent member of the team.

Responsibilities

• Using ATLAS and Systems Monitor to proactively monitor and resolve electrical issues as they arise.
• Configuration of hardware communication between systems and sensors.
• Preparation and supporting running of cars at test and race events.
• Assist in the preparation of pre Event test requirements and build spec documentation.
• Assist in post-event reporting and fault tracking (Recording and rectification).
• Develop off car systems tools to aid in the efficient and fast operation of race cars.
• Continuously monitor and help to improve on and off car installations, design standards and operational processes and procedures.

Knowledge / Skills

• Educated to degree level in electrical engineering or similar
• Knowledge of motorsport wiring and hardware configuration
• Experience of MATLAB, Simulink and McLaren Applied Technology tool and libraries (GDE, Atlas, etc)
• Knowledge of HV systems
• A good team player with abilities to meet tight deadline in a group and alone
• Excellent English written and oral communication skills
• Analytical and methodical worker
