NIO 333 Racing Formula E Team, a manufacturer team competing in The FIA Formula E World Championship have a requirement for a STRATEGY ENGINEER.
Reporting to the Head of Performance, you will have :-
- An ability in quickly analysing and interpreting real time data as is presented in multiple forms from Graphic tools, Telemetry, Written, 2 way Intercom and TV Live feed.
- A thorough understanding of the Championship Sporting Regulations, including but not limited to Safety car zones, Attack Mode, Race laps added, etc.
- A good comprehension of the Technical Regulations.
- To create standardised templates and present pre-event reports before Qualifying and Races to include differing scenarios that are proportional to Car and driver performance.
- An ability to create be-spoke tools for both pre-event and post event analysis of the race and competitor behaviour.
- To create post event reports, highlighting Track detail, Team and Competitor performance.
- To work in conjunction with the NIO 333 Controls group to understand the efficiency of the cars in Race trim.
- To work in conjunction with the NIO 333 Performance group to understand the characteristics of the tyres.
- Clear verbal communication skills for direct intercom link to Race Engineers.
- To build confident relationships with the teams’ drivers.
- Confidence to authorise potential race changing outcomes quickly.
- To ‘think on your feet’ and make fast assessments to assist Performance.
- Experience in the use of and creation of tools from historical data for forecasting situations at Race venues.

- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.

- Degree educated (Motorsport / Automotive Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics).
