We are currently seeking a talented Stores Assistant to be part of this groundbreaking project supporting the stores operation for the entire fleet of cars for Roborace.

You will be a great communicator, comfortable working under pressure, excited and passionate to deliver within a high performing team environment.

The Opportunity

The Stores Assistant is an integral member of the team and you’ll be kept busy on a day to day basis with a number of different tasks. It’s a fast paced environment, so the ability to work at speed and with accuracy is important! You will be reporting to the Stores Manager and supporting our highly skilled engineering team and keeping everyone updated by co-ordinating the day to day stock movements, placing orders with suppliers, liaising with couriers to ensure timely deliveries, whilst keeping the stores administration procedures up to date and accurate.

It is important that you are able to manually handle stock whilst taking receipt of deliveries and move stock around the business as required. Your contribution will also be essential ensuring that the workshop is safe and tidy.

You have the opportunity to contribute to our success as we look to your experience in this environment for ways to continuously improve stock control/ management methods for the business. Ideally you will have come from an OEM (Original Manufacture Environment) such as automotive or aerospace, or any other sector of relevance. We require team players with a strong work ethic who possess great interpersonal skills and the ability to embrace change as the company continues to grows.
