General Summary:

This position reports to the Stores & Parts Team Leader or their designee, is located in Banbury, UK. Responsible for administrative support within the Stores team during the 2025 car build, capturing stock movement within the ERP system and ensuring all data matches the physical while adhering to parts policies, guidelines, and procedures.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote teamwork and effective communications to develop working relationships between all personnel and departments.
  • Populating pick and kit information, issuing lists & printing labels for the operational team.
  • Checking stock due dates, availability & providing a forecast of deliveries to fulfil the kit requirements for car build.
  • Ability to understand technical drawings to match physical product against on-hand inventory data.
  • Ensure part and serialization data meets company protocol before parts enter the ERP & Lifing software.
  • Purchase requisition raising, part receipting against registered items & indirect procurements.
  • Digital Booking in, transfers and stock inquiries within Microsoft Dynamics D365.
  • Work with the parts and stores coordinators on any given administrative tasks.
  • Follow all safety regulations in all venues.
  • Assumes any responsibilities and duties delegated by the Stores & Parts Team Leader or their designee.

 

Education and Work Experience:

  • GSCE, High School education or equivalent required.
  • Typically requires minimum two years of administrative experience, within the motorsport industry is preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and meet liability/casualty insurance requirements.
  • Leadership experience preferred.

 

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft products, ideally with experience of Dynamics 365, Excel, Power Bi, Outlook and Teams.
  • Good knowledge of race car part and assemblies, including vendors, part functions, serialization, and part numbers. 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills under limited time situations.
  • Integration within a growing team with a can-do attitude, solid team ethic and people skills.
  • Work well within a team environment with personnel at all levels.
  • A sympathetic approach to your work colleagues and an ability to integrate within a group environment.
  • A can-do positive approach and a willingness to help others is essential.

 

Equipment and Applications:

  • Solid computer knowledge, preferred experience in Microsoft Office, D365 products.
  • Ability to follow complex regulations related to shipment of materials and facility maintenance requirements.

 

Work Environment Physical Demands:

An ability to work and prioritize within a high pressure, time sensitive environment while retaining a methodical approach is essential. The role may require occasional domestic & international travel and a willingness to work long and flexible hours including weekends.

 

This position may require lifting to 50 pounds, repeated bending, squatting and manual dexterity. Fast-paced work environment requiring heavy mental demands. Work environment includes machinery, race cars, 7-post and other rigs, grinding debris, and hazardous fluids. All employees must ensure compliance with the Company Health and Safety Policy, and all relevant other statutory Health and Safety legislation.
