Job Overview
As Simulator Engineer at Rodin Motorsport, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our racing simulators. You will work closely with our engineering team to ensure our simulators provide the most accurate and realistic training environment for our drivers. Your work will directly contribute to our competitive edge on the track.
Key Responsibilities
- Development and Maintenance: Develop, maintain, and enhance our racing simulators to ensure they provide the most realistic and accurate simulation experience.
- Data Analysis: Analyse data from simulator sessions to identify areas for improvement in both the simulator and the real-world performance of our vehicles.
- Integration: Integrate new vehicle models, tracks, and environmental conditions into the simulator software.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues related to the simulator hardware and software.
- Collaboration: Work closely with race engineers, drivers, and other team members to ensure the simulator meets their training needs.
- Innovation: Stay updated with the latest advancements in simulation technology and implement new features and improvements.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in simulation engineering, preferably within motorsport or a related industry.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
