We have an opening in our NASCAR Engineering Group in Concord, North Carolina for a full-time Simulation/Programming Engineer.

This position will develop, test and validate race car simulation programs. These programs are integrated system-level models which simulate and predict race car reactions on-track, considering a range of operating conditions such as vehicle dynamics, tire dynamics, track conditions, and environmental conditions.

 

Requirements:

  • It is required that candidates for this position be fluent in the use of the C# programming language to create the simulation models and WPF to create the user interfaces / GUI. Additionally knowledge of C, C++ is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Matlab for physical system modeling is a significant plus. 
  • A background of Statistical Analysis and Data management particularly SQL query writing, Dymola/Modelica, and Labview is desired.
  • Automotive and/or motorsports experience is a bonus.
  • A Bachelor degree or higher (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics is desired.
