Senior Electrical Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to design and deliver electrical solutions to a variety of engineering projects including preparation of electrical schematics, component selection and validation testing. Our current portfolio includes a diverse range of projects, including novel suspension systems for military application, innovative aircraft seating systems, a ‘last mile’ 18 tonne electric delivery truck and the design and delivery of a new hydraulic control system for a hypercar. Our portfolio covers engineering design solution projects that range in size and scope.

Key responsibilities:

• Creation of electrical schematics
• Selection of electrical components (wires, fuses, connectors, controllers, sensors, actuators etc.)
• Design of wiring harnesses within a ECAD environment
• Electrical system integration
• BOM preparation
• Liaison with customers and suppliers
• Management of electrical work requirements within teams
• Work with build technicians in the practical delivery of electrical systems including ‘hands on’ activities
• Testing and validation of systems to internal and corporate requirements
• EMC legislation, test requirements and design practices
• Electrical system analysis and resolution skills

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer with previous experience working within the automotive, aerospace or defence sectors (however others will be considered). You will be educated to degree level within a relevant engineering discipline and are looking to join our team and add value to live projects from day one.
