Lifeline Fire and Safety Systems Ltd are a leading manufacturer of fire and safety systems based in Coventry in the UK. We are seeking a driven and technical Sales Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will leverage your technical acumen and sales expertise to identify new business opportunities, develop customer relationships, and generate profitable sales.



  • Qualify leads and identify potential customers.
  • Present safety system solutions to clients, effectively communicating the benefits and value proposition of your Lifeline’s products.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical proposals, including detailed system designs and pricing.
  • Work closely with Sales Director and Business Development to close sales deals.
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with existing and new customers.
  • Provide technical support to the sales team, collaborate with engineering and service departments to ensure Lifeline meets customer demands.
  • Manage customer project timelines internally to ensure that all requirements are met.
  • Participate in industry events and trade shows to network and generate leads.



  • Bachelor's degree in engineering field (preferred).
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in technical sales or a related technical role.
  • Experience of sales in the Motorsports, Defence or Industrial markets.
  • Proven ability to identify customer needs, develop technical solutions, and present effectively.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent relationship-building and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to travel as required.
