Performance Engineer

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a degree in a relevant Engineering discipline with a good general technical engineering knowledge and a strong mathematical background.
  • A strong grasp of vehicle dynamics, with experience of Data Analysis Software such as ATLAS, Wintax and Lap simulation software.
  • Have a high proficiency with MS Excel and VBA (or similar coding language) and have some experience in the use of MATLAB and Simulink to assist in creating analysis tools. 
  • Experience in Formula 1, WEC or Formula E would be preferable, but applications will be considered if the candidate has relevant experience of at least 3 years in another category. 


The role will be concentrated on drivetrain performance analysis and improvement, allied with driving analysis, interacting directly with one of the team drivers.

The candidate must demonstrate:

  • Strong attention to detail and an analytical approach.
  • Good problem solving ability.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Enjoyment of collaborative working.
  • An ability to work to a tight schedule.
