The Operations & HR Administrator / Personal Assistant are new positions within our business, we are looking for a job share to cover all aspects of the job description below, however the distribution of tasks will be tailored to individual skills and experience.

Job Purpose:

  • To assist Managing Director / Head of Operations & HR with oversight and administration;
  • Attend fortnightly management meetings to manage the minutes, notes and tasks;
  • Assist the Operations department with key tasks, such as conducting appraisals, organising preventative maintenance, resource planning and other continual improvement tasks;
  • Produce and maintain all training plans throughout the business and ensure they are kept up to date and circulated where necessary;
  • Assist Managing Director with the management of key customer accounts.

 

Main Duties:

  • Assist in dealing with all Production staff HR matters;
  • Use and analyse relevant data to ensure Planned vs. Actual resource reporting is up to date and circulated to the relevant managers, summarising key data to assist with evaluation of departmental performance;
  • Conduct all Cell Production appraisals and provide summary reports to relevant managers to assist with progression within the department;
  • Ensure all training plans are up to date and circulated;
  • Manage housekeeping within the building;
  • Assist with WIP/Stock reporting when necessary and ensure awareness of process/procedure is up to date to be able to cover roles when needed;
  • Liaise with relevant Managers to ensure weekly reports are as effective as possible, driving improvements where necessary;
  • Manage Management Review Minutes as well as Senior Management Meeting notes/tasks;
  • Liaise with relevant Managers to ensure progression plans are in place for certain staff to assist with overall business and personal development;
  • Ensure there is a focus on continual improvement, inc. Audit Tasks, to help develop the company.

 

Other Duties:

Other jobs within your capabilities may be requested by Senior Management from time-to-time, including any other role that you possess experience in that the Company may require you to fulfil.

Hours of Work:  24-30 hours per week – to be discussed

Salary:  Depending on experience.
