Motorsport Parts Coordinator

We are looking for a Motorsport Parts Coordinator to work in our fast paced and rewarding environment, whilst supporting our worldwide customer base, across various championships, such as British GT, European GT4, French GT, ADAC GT4, GT World Challenge, SRO America and IMSA to name a few.

The parts Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring Prodrive and Aston Martin Racing provide a world-class service to its customers, providing responsive, clear and precise communication, efficiency and accurate order processing. The role is office based but requires international travel to attend race events, where you will support customers from our state-of-the-art customer support truck.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Provide the customer base with a point of contact for all parts requirements and quotations.
• Support Account Managers with customer order creation, monitor and process all sales parts orders through to final delivery.
• Manage customer demand through using our manufacturing and inventory system IFS.
• Provide track-side parts support at international events such as European GT4, French GT & ADAC GT4 from our European Support Truck
• Provide customer base with ongoing information and weekly updates regarding parts availability and backorders.
• Liaise with purchasing/manufacturing departments to chase delivery of parts for sale.
• Liaise with Distribution to ensure orders are prioritised and shipped as agreed with the customer.
• Manage the prompt and correct delivery of all goods and services.

Who are we looking for?

Our ideal candidate will have experience from within Motorsport or an Automotive background. You will have a good parts knowledge and/or experience with processing orders and/or product movements. The ability to communicate effectively via email, telephone and face to face is essential in this role, along with the ability to work as an individual or as part of a team to achieve results within a tight and challenging deadline. You will be computer literate, with a strong knowledge of Word and Excel. Availability and willingness to travel to race events is essential.
