Mechanical Quality Inspector

GOOD-INWARDS MECHANICAL QUALITY INSPECTOR 

R53 suspension, is a leading motorsport company operating at a high-level motorsport (GT Racing, Formula E, WRC…), we have a vacancy in our busy Quality Assurance department. 

If you have good mechanical and engineering knowledge with excellent attention to detail as well as a motivation for self-development and wish to work on  suspension systems for top motorsport and high-performance vehicles, then we have the opportunity for you. 

The role involves: 

• Dimensional and visual inspection of all components used in the manufacture and assembly of suspension systems for prestige automotive and motorsport customers. Predominantly, sub-contract manufactured, precision machined components.  

The ideal candidate should have: 

• Self-motivation and organization skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Interpreting engineering drawings and similar specifications.
• Solid experience with hand-held and bench-top mechanical measuring equipment. 
• Writing associated computerised quality reports. 
• Verbal and digital communication with engineers, customers and suppliers. 
• Reporting to the factory general manager. 
• Confidentiality.
