Mahindra Racing is a motor racing team based in Banbury, United Kingdom, competing with an Indian racing licence. The team is currently competing in the electric FIA Formula E Championship since the inaugural season in 2014 

 

Role Overview: 

The IT Analyst will be responsible for supporting end users while they are in the business. This could be remotely or deskside with the colleague. You will also be partly responsible for supporting the virtual server and network infrastructure that underpins the company’s operations. 

 

Main Responsibilities: 

- Management of end user computing assets 

- Patch management using MS WSUS 

- Active Directory and Group Policy configuration 

- Input into IT improvement process 

- Maintain IT Knowledgebase and documentation 

- Network Configuration 

- VMWare Infrastructure support 

 

Qualifications, skills and experience required: 

Essential 

• Extensive knowledge of both Microsoft Desktop and Server OS 
• A good understanding of Office365 
• Experience of vSphere and its associated components 
• Network configuration 
• Daily VMWare/vSphere operational skills 

 

Desirable 

• VMWare VCP qualification
• Microsoft Certification (MCSE/MCSA/MOS) 
• Corporate backup solutions (Veeam / Commvault) 
• Fortinet NGFW experience 

 

Personal Profile 

• Used to working to own initiative 
• Effective written and oral communication skills in English 
• Works methodically with attention to detail 
• Personal flexibility to work hours as required including operational support for race and tests events at a weekend 
• Practical approach to problem solving with an ability to document effective solutions
