We are currently seeking a talented HV Battery Build Technician to join our Production Team as we work in collaboration with recognised industry leaders in EV technology on our high-end vehicle project.


You will be a key member of the sub assembly team building batteries for areas on the car including floor and rear battery, rear drive unit and doors and other essential sub-assemblies. This role also offers development and exposure to integration where you will be working with and supporting Mechanical and Electrical prototype development teams.

This role also offers great developmental opportunities to diversify within the production team as we grow supporting HV sub-assemblies and also main line production.

To be successful you will have an innovative and ‘hands on approach’ together with strong attention to detail gained within a motorsport or credible

automotive engineering environment and have eligibility to work in the UK. You will also be a great communicator, comfortable working under pressure and excited as well as passionate to deliver within a high performing team environment.


What’ll you do
Your key role will be supporting the HV battery build from ‘end to end ‘and you will be

  • A key member of the Battery build within the sub assembly area
  • A key member of the Mechanical build withing the sub assembly area
  • Supporting the general build team when required 
  • Following build processes & feeding back improvements, working with the manufacturing engineering team
  • Ensuring sub-assemblies are built to the correct quality standards & testing ready for delivery to production.


Our Technical Requirements

  • Experience of hands-on working with high voltage systems, battery systems would be ideal
  • Expertise with safe systems of work relating to High Voltage
  • Great attention to process and detail
  • A keen interest in EV electrical systems
  • An awareness of common HV safety features of electric vehicles
  • A basic knowledge of electrical theory
  • Experience in mechanical sub-assemblies / production General assembly build
