Are you a recent Graduate seeking a new opportunity in Control Systems or do you have a few years work experience as a Control Systems Engineer? Would you like to help shape new innovations at Roborace?
Roborace - The world’s first autonomous electric racing car, an extreme motorsport and entertainment platform for the future of road relevant technologies.
We are currently seeking a talented Graduate Control Systems Engineer to contribute to the development and application of the control systems of the car. These systems include brake, throttle and steering actuators, tractive systems and the general car stabilisation algorithms.
Further responsibilities will include the preparation and post analysis of driving events and also assisting with defining, developing and optimising the hardware and software specifications for the car.
To be successful in this role as well as possessing great technical skills you will need to be resilient and passionate about what you do as well as have an innovative ‘hands on’ approach.
Comfortable working under pressure you will also have great motivation and ability to structure and organise your work effectively to successfully meet operational demands and balance development requirements.
As well as a degree in Electric and Electronic / Software engineering or equivalent, you may also have participated in Formula Student and will also have an interest and a level of knowledge in the following areas
