The Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO) is looking for an Electronics Engineer, who will oversee the implementation and functioning of electronics control systems across all ACO championships (FIA WEC, European Le Mans Series, Asian Le Mans Series). This position will involve working with electrical and electronic systems:
Missions and responsibilities:
The Electronics Engineer will be entrusted with the responsibilities set out below:
Additionnally, the Electronics Engineer will have the following reponsibilities trackside:
-Engineering degree or equivalent expert level in Electrical and Electronic Engineering is required.
-At least five years’ post-graduate experience in motor sport electronics.
-Electrical and electronic systems, embedded systems, communication buses. Programming in C-code and Matlab/Simulink. ECU calibration, control systems for chassis and powertrain, data analysis.
-Strong organisation and communication skills, a proactive and team player attitude, and the ability to work autonomously and in the strictest confidence.
-Fluency in both spoken and written English is required
-Willingness to travel extensively (+/- 15 events per year)
-Desire to work in a collaboration with multiple stakeholders: FIA, IMSA, ACO subsidiaries
