The world’s first driverless electric racing car, an extreme motorsport and entertainment platform for the future of road relevant technologies.

We are currently seeking an exceptional Electronics Engineer, to be successful in this role you will need to have an innovative approach and ‘hands on’ experience within a motorsport or high-end automotive environment and have eligibility to work in the UK.

You will be comfortable working under pressure, excited and passionate to deliver within a high performing team environment.

The role will be based in our brand new offices in London and will also include international travel to accompany and support Roborace events at major cities across the world, including some Formula E events.

 

Our Technical Requirements

The Electronics Engineer will be responsible for the development and integration of the electrical systems and components and for generating the system architecture, diagrams and circuit drawings to support the electrical design activity. The successful candidate will also have sound knowledge of power, ground signalling and system schumatics. Other responsibilities will be to

  • Develop electrical circuit and drawings to 3D integration
  • Ensure that the electrical design adheres to low voltage, high voltage, high current and EMC best practices and be able to deliver EDS schematic and physical designs 
  • Contribute to the development of the definition of interface requirements for subsystems and components
  • Analyse and specify system requirements including communication, functionality and physical elements of the system. 
  • Develop and carry out test and  validation procedures and specification

 

Ideally you will have experience or knowledge in at least two of the following areas:

  • Experience in an electrical distribution system for complex vehicle systems
  • Knowledge of vehicle system architecture design considerations
  • Methodical approach to issue investigation and resolution
  • Experience in HV environment
  • Understanding of Sensors and Filtering
  • Experience with typical robotics sensors like Lidar or Cameras
  • Experience with typical motorsport sensors like slip angle, pressure and temperature sensors
  • Data analysis within a motorsport environment with experience of Atlas software or similar.
  • Working with LV components and working with CAN/Networks.
