We have an exciting and challenging opportunity for a CFD Thermodynamicist within the Aerodynamics Department, developing effective thermal management solutions for the racecar brake systems and other components around the wheels.
The successful candidate will be responsible for using CFD to develop effective thermal management solutions for the brake systems, from the concept stage through to implementation on the racecar. You will use the brake dyno and track tests to further evaluate and confirm their performance through data analysis.
You should have a strong Mechanical or Aeronautical degree, be resilient and comfortable to work under pressure often to tight timescales.
