We are seeking a Business Development Manager to manage our existing accounts and generate new opportunities within the Motorsport sector.  Your portfolio of customers will include all Motorsport customers, including Formula 1 teams, BTCC Teams and Formula Student.  This will primarily be an office based role in Abingdon, however, customer visits will be necessary along with attendance at race events throughout the year.

The role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £30,000-£45,000 OTE, per annum 25 days annual leave, life insurance and 5% pension contribution.

About the Business Development Manager role:

You will be a key member of our sales team, working with a high volume of accounts across all motorsport series.  Delivering a high standard of service, you will be responsible for growing existing accounts, through developing key relationships and cross-selling product lines, as well as developing new accounts by building a strategy for each suitable race series.  The role will also require you to have input into the company marketing plan and you will be required to attend race and networking events.

What we are looking for in our Business Development Manager:

  • Must have a good standard of literacy and numeracy skills
  • You should be personable and able to work as part of a team
  • Ability to communicate with staff at all levels
  • Ability to work to tight timescales in a fast-moving and ever-changing environment
  • Be an energetic team player
  • Must be passionate about Motorsport and have an understanding of the Automotive Industry
  • Previous experience of sales into Motorsport
