12-Month Industrial Placement – Electronics and Controls – August 2024

We have an exciting opportunity for an undergraduate student studying an Engineering or Computer science degree at University to join our team for a 12-month industrial placement in the Electronics and Control Systems (ECS) department.

The suitable candidate will report directly to the Head of Electronics and Control Systems or their designee and will rotate between the 4 different groups within the department, 3 months in each.

• Systems / Electronics
• Driver In the Loop Simulator
• Controls
• Energy Management

During this time you will be treated as a fully-fledged member of the engineering team and be exposed to all aspects of the ECS department. You will be exposed to a breadth and depth of experience that you are unlikely to get anywhere else with genuine responsibility and scope to make a real impact.
