Arise Racing is currently seeking an Operations Manager to oversee the race team and driver training school based in Perth’s northern suburbs.
To be successful in this role you will be an analytical thinker with clear, logical thought processes. You will be highly organised, with advanced administration skills and have the ability to handle complex structures and systems.
You will have automotive experience in either a technical or manufacturing environment or understanding of how the motorsport industry operates. Experience using CAD and integrating complete vehicle bills of material would be advantageous. It is essential that you have a relevant degree in either Business or Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering.
Key responsibilities will include:
? Supervising all R&D activities including the composition of all supporting documentation
? Manage existing customers and drive new business
? Promote and secure Driver Training and Corporate customers
? Liaise with state and federal industry Administrative bodies
? Identify suppliers and conduct supplier negotiations, locally and internationally
? Responsible for all procurement duties
? Responsible for all product design and specification
? Responsible for all Computer Aided Design modelling and issuing of engineering drawings
? Maintain Bill of Materials for all vehicle makes
? Oversee daily operation of Arise Racing Workshop facility
? Responsible for all racing related administrative duties, and acting as primary point of contact for all customer inquiries
? Maintain Human Resources and Workplace Health and Safety manuals
? Responsible for providing training to staff in line with WHS policies, maintaining WHS documentation, and acting as Workshop Safety Officer
? Maintain workshop certifications and approvals
? Weekly reporting to Managing Director
? Execute all customer invoicing
? Liaise with subcontractors for any works required in the building such as insurance and general repairs, maintenance, renovations etc
